So yesterday I had a bunch of freelance stuff due. Like many who are, have been, or want to be journalists, I work better on a deadline. Up to that deadline, actually.
Deadline days are not good days for the Internet to go down.
Eric, if you are reading this, the Internet was down yesterday. Yes, the whole Internet.
Our connection was lost from yesterday afternoon until around 11 last night. Internet AND cable.
This meant no Olympics. Tanna was not happy.
Fortunately, I had completed all but two articles and was able to finish them up before going to sleep. Plus, I have an awesome boss/former boss who is understanding about such things.
Last night, while Al Gore was getting his Internet back up and running, I went to a Sunday school social function for the female types in our class. I would post photos, but I don't know if the people want their pictures on the Internet. They're not Amish or anything, but you never know.
