Mom Tip--White House Greetings

Did you know that you can get a congratulatory greeting from the White House when you have a baby ... or get married ... or celebrate a birthday (ages 80 and older) or an anniversary (50th or more)? It's true! And we have the greetings to prove it!

Our wedding greeting

I think this is so neat--and it makes for a special keepsake for your wedding scrapbook or baby book. I requested a wedding greeting by sending one of our wedding invitations to the White House. It was several weeks after the big event that we got our greeting--but I was so excited when it arrived. I love that kind of stuff!

Now you can simply fill out a request online, which I did after Kate was born. In a matter of weeks, she received some special mail--see:

You can still request greetings via fax or regular mail--find out more information by reading these guidelines.
