It's Auntie Darlene's birthday today! Yes, two family birthdays in one day--how exciting! Darlene is Mike's (Tanna's brother's) wife--my fellow daughter-in-law in the Lim family. :o) Darlene is a lot of fun and a true SoCal gal. The Cali Lims usually visit the South at least once a year--an effort that is no small feat with two kids, and it is greatly appreciated. Darlene is a fantastic mom to Kylie and Eric--and a fabulous wife to hubby Mike. She has done a great job of welcoming me into the family over the years--and she is a great source of advice when it comes to all things Korean and cultural things of the Asian nature! Speaking of, we made some great memories a few years back when we were on a family trip to Korea. What fun! To explain to you what a brave soul Darlene is--she was there when Eric was just 1 year old. I cannot imagine taking such a long trip with Kate at this age. Wow!

ReplyDeleteok, i have to say though, that much to my dismay, the main pic of me and kate, SHE looks cute as EVER...i look like i'm a couple of months prego! hehehe...
