Looking Ahead to Cow Appreciation Day 2009 & Chick-fil-A's Labor Day Giveaway
Since last month's Cow Appreciation Day, I seem to have developed an eye for spotting (pun intended) cow attire. There are some really cute cow things out there, and we are entering Halloween season--which means cow costumes will be in abundance. Be sure to hit those after-Halloween sales to stock up for next year's CAD. Although, I do believe some of the homemade costumes are the best!
Anyway, I wanted to show you a couple of things I saw at Belk yesterday. I was a bit disappointed that these do not come in Kate's size--she's already too big for both. Or at least they didn't have her size available yesterday. Look how cute:
Speaking of free Chick-fil-A, don't forget about the big Labor Day promotion! You've probably herrrd about it by now, but basically you get a free three-count of the new chicken strips for wearing football team attire or even just a logo. This is on Labor Day--which is early this year, folks! Don't get caught off guard! Read all about it here. Or here.
Believe it or not, I still haven't had the new strips yet, but I hear they are awesome--and the sauce, too! I'm not a sauce person myself, but I am tempted to try it based on all the rave reviews. Tanna and I don't have any football apparel that we could remember, so we may have to look in the back corners of our closets or come up with something creative. LOL!

The sauce is so awesome! It has kind of a smoky taste. The strips are really big -- mine were bigger than they looked in the picture.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU for posting Amelia on your blog! :)
The strips are great! And the sauce too! We went TWO days in a row for free strips when they gave them away a couple weeks ago! YUMMY!
