Back in January, we had our annual lunch with my Uncle Norm and Aunt Mary, who were on their way from Maine to Florida. It's become a tradition to meet them at the same restaurant right off of the Interstate. My Uncle Norm is usually hauling a boat, so the location is ideal--plus, the restaurant has a huge parking lot, which is a big plus.
We had a nice visit, although the restaurant was SUPER busy and LOUD, which we thought was unusual for a weekday. In the last three or four years we've met there, it's never been that busy. Crazy. Tanna was able to leave work and meet us, which was a treat. Sometimes he's able to make it, and sometimes not (because my aunt and uncle are usually coming through town on a weekday).
The only bad thing about our lunches is that they are too short--wish there was more time to catch up and talk. But we'll take what we can get! Here are some photos from our brief visit ...
Uncle Norm is my dad's oldest brother.
Kate loves the fountain outside of the restaurant.
"Oooooh, what's that?" (a frequently heard Kate quote)
A little love
Come back soon!
too cute! We love that resturant! YUMMY! That's really special that you keep those family ties and make sure to see them when they come through town.
