Back to Hae Woon Dae & Kate's First Watermelon

Last week, we had dinner at Hae Woon Dae with some folks from Tanna's work. Hae Woon Dae is a Korean place on Buford Highway--it's known for its delicious kalbi.

Kate and I switched drinks--I think she loves Coke as much as her Mommy.

JK!

Kate tried watermelon for the first time. And she was wearing her new watermelon outfit just for the occasion--LOL! (I told you Koreans love watermelon--you usually get a slice after your meal. Yum!) Unfortunately, Kate didn't take to it. But on the bright side, I got to eat her piece.

Oh yeah, we had a BOW BREAKTHROUGH! In the last few weeks, Kate has started pulling out any hairbow I try to put in her hair. :o( But I have a new technique. I have to distract her with something else as soon as I put the bow in her hair. If she forgets about it right then, then there's a good chance that the bow will stay in for a little while. Sure, she usually discovers it and pulls it out eventually, but a little while is better than no while.

BYE! Kate with her new friends and showing how she can wave!
See you soon!
