Celebrity Saturday--Boy George

In 2001, my friend Marsha and I went to San Francisco for a few days. We had an AWESOME time--soooooo much fun! We shopped, rode the cable cars, drove down the crazy crooked street, saw "The Vagina Monologues," found the "Party of Five" house, visited the restaurant in the opening scene of "When a Man Loves a Woman," and so on and so forth! It was great! On the way back to Sacramento (where Marsh was living at the time), we stopped and toured the Jelly Belly factory. (Too bad I don't really eat jelly beans, but it was still cool to see.)

Anyway, while we were out about town, we found out that Boy George was having an event at (I think) Virgin Records. It didn't start till around midnight, if I remember correctly. We didn't have any specific plans for that time, so we decided to go! We went to an old music shop and found some Culture Club records for him to sign.

When we got there, to say we stuck out like a sore thumb could be an understatement. LOL! We didn't care, though. It was fun, and we had a great time. We got to meet Boy George--and we have the pictures to prove it. The photo of me is HORRIBLE, but Marsha's is good. I need to find hers and scan it in.

Sing with me: Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry?
