Tennessee Trip--May

We have been to Tennessee several times this year already. I don't even think I have blogged about all of them. So I thought I would record some more of our trip from May. Kate, Mr. X and I spent several days there and enjoyed our time with family. (Tanna stayed here in Georgia because we went up during the week, and he had to work.)

Mr. X enjoyed seeing some of the fun things the Tri-Cities has to offer, such as ...

Bristol Motor Speedway ...

Ridgewood Barbecue ...

The Peerless (this is actually the Mr. X key chain because I forgot the bigger doll that day) ...

Bluff City Volunteer Fire Department (courtesy of Uncle Steven) ...

State Street ... and more!

We usually take turns staying with family. This trip, we stayed at Aunt Robin and Uncle Steven's house. Check out this cute welcome sign that Rebekah made for us. (Note: The Tennessee nieces call me "Aunt BeBe." I have mentioned that here before--but there you go, in case you didn't know. :o))

Here's Kate with Uncle Johnny and A-C after a fun day at Mrs. Kay-Kay's house.

Rebekah and Riley have some little pet frogs that Kate loves to watch and to feed. Here she is with Uncle Steven, who is helping her feed the froggies. Mr. X made it in the photo, too, courtesy of Bekah. LOL!

TCBY!

I love this photo of Anna-Claire Bear.

There's Abigail! I was looking at this photo and realized that school was still in session back in May. Seems like such a long time ago!

One morning, Grammy and I took Kate to the playground at church before visiting with Mrs. Sandra, a special family friend, at her house.

We went to a very fun toy store.

Kate loved this awesome marble/ramp game.

On Saturday evening, we went out to eat. Our server brought us sundaes on the house! What a very delightful and delicious surprise!

YUM!

Sunday-afternoon visit with Grammy and Grampy before heading back to Atlanta. What a great trip!
