The Zoo x 2!

Believe it or not, we've been to the zoo twice this week already!

Today we went with Jane & Jasper, Allison & Blake, and Jane's Mom Barbara (aka "Mimi") & Graham (Jasper's cousin). Today is Jasper's first birthday, so what better excuse to visit the zoo!? The weather was wonderful--a big difference from just the other day. Things have finally cooled off a little here in Atlanta, and I am loving it! We'll see how long it lasts!

On Monday, Kate and I met some new friends--Tiffanie and Jonathan--at the zoo. We had a great time exchanging OCC stories, as Tiffanie is a fellow OCC volunteer. We both share a love for the project, so we got along just fine! Jonathan is such a cutie and a very sweet little boy--too bad they are probably moving soon. I am glad we got to get together!


This was Jonathan's first time to the zoo! How exciting!


He was wearing an adorable outfit with a lion on it, so you know we needed a photo with the big daddy lion in the background. Fortunately, the lion cooperated. Many times, he is up on the very top of the rock formation and hard to see.
