This morning, we ate breakfast with Santa at Tanna's work. To be honest, we just saw Santa, and Kate had a photo made with him and Mrs. Claus before we got some food. So Santa didn't actually eat with us. Well, to be completely honest, Kate and I didn't eat--Tanna ate all of the food (pancakes, sausage, etc.). Kate did drink some apple juice, though. (Kate had eaten a little before we left home, and I gobbled up a cookie on the way, so we weren't that hungry.)
Breakfast with Santa is a really nice event for the kids--this was our second year attending. It's always great to see some of Tanna's colleagues there. While folks wait in line to see Santa, balloon artists make all kinds of neat creations for the kiddos. Kate got a heart/flower balloon, but I didn't get a photo of it before it popped. I had left the other camera battery--the one I was sure to put in the charger before going to bed--at home, so I didn't get as many pictures as usual. We had a fun, and Kate walked right up to Santa and sat in his lap, all by herself (it was looking iffy for a few seconds beforehand). She is really fond of that bearded man!
Kate with Ah-Pah before going to the breakfast. Kate is wearing a cross necklace that Grammy and Grampy gave her.
The children receive presents after seeing Santa--so nice! This kind of reminded me of the employee party at Eastman growing up--remember when the children would receive gifts at the employee center?
Bad picture, but this is the last pic right before the battery died. Merry Christmas!
I love Kate's tights. I want some.
ReplyDeleteAnd YES!!! Santa at Eastman was great! I remember one year I got a pen set. I must have been getting a little older and too old for the toys that year.
Loved the movies too. I bet we were sitting in that theater at the same time at some point.
What a nice treat to the family! Love businesses who do it.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! Kate looked adorable in her dress!!
ReplyDeleteKate looks so pretty-love her dress and tights! Glad she is so happy about Santa this year. I LOVED the Eastman parties growing up- my favorite gift was a Smurf colorforms set. Ah the memories.
