Christmas Tea Party

Kate and Jamie in front of the big gingerbread house

Yesterday, we met Di and Jamie at Bloomingdale's for a holiday tea party. It was a free event, set up right there in the children's department. Kids could enjoy refreshments as well as face-painting and cookie-decorating. You can't tell from the photos, but it was kind of crowded. So we snapped a few photos and then headed over to PBK, where the girls like to "play kitchen," as Kate says. Although, truth be told, Kate really likes to just run all over the store.

All dolled up and ready to go! I bought this dress for Kate at a consignment sale months before she was even born.

Sweet friends. You can see some of the colorful Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling.

Cookie-decorating stations

These look almost too good to eat!

Don't be fooled by this image. Kate will hardly sit still for 10 seconds in Pottery Barn Kids.
