Did you know there's a train at North Point Mall? Well, there sure is! It runs on the lower level, with pick-up and drop-off down near Dillard's. I first saw it back in October, but I was in a hurry and didn't have time to find out more about it. The next time we were at North Point was in November, when my brother, Johnny, and his family were visiting from Tennessee. That's when these photos were taken.
Johnny rode the "Peachtree Express," as it is called, with Abigail, Anna-Claire and Kate. They had a ball! It's funny to watch the train weave in and out of the mall crowd. It basically just drives through the halls--not on a track or anything. So beware if you are out shopping and feel something baring down on you ... like this unsuspecting woman:
Never fear--she made it out of the way in time. LOL!
I am pretty sure the train is not just a seasonal thing, but I could be wrong.
All aboard! Johnny and the girls are ready to roll!
Let's get this party started, as Anna-Claire would say. Seriously. She says that all the time. LOL!
Anna-Claire wastes no time waving to the crowd. LOL!
The ride is almost over, and she is still at it. ha!
The 4-1-1, in case you were wondering ...
It does go year round and an adult has to ride with children, so the minimum is $8 for an adult and child to ride ($4/person).
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised you didn't mention anything about a certain grumpy Conductor...;)
ReplyDeleteI love how Anna-Claire became the North Point Mall welcoming committee. Fun ride! A-C still walks around the house saying "All Aboard!"
