Christmas Ornaments: Paris

Tanna and I bought this ornament on our vacation to Paris in the summer of 2006. We went to France for Don and Celine's wedding. (Tanna and Don went to high school together.) It was such a wonderful trip--we had so much fun exploring Paris with David, another friend of Tanna's from high school. We also met up with several of Don's family members and made some great memories. Tanna had been to Paris before, but that was my first trip there. Hope it's not my last!

I can't remember where exactly we bought this ornament--probably in one of the souvenir shops near the big tourist attractions. I liked it because it included so many of the must-see Paris destinations in one ornament. We went to all of them, too--although we didn't have time to go inside the Louvre. Maybe next time!

The ornament did end up broken. I can't remember if it was on our return trip or after we got back. Anyway, it wasn't something a little super glue couldn't fix. I like picking up ornaments on vacations and other travels. As I am sure you now know, I love a Christmas tree that serves as a scrapbook, full of memories (holiday and otherwise).

Tanna and I pose in front of the Eiffel Tower. This photo was actually on our Christmas card that year.
