Blabla's Pancake Pajama Party

Kate and I stopped by blabla's pancake pajama party last Saturday morning. It was FREEZING, so I dressed Kate in the warmest PJs she has and even put a turtleneck underneath. Seeing how none of her shoes would fit over the pajama feet, I asked her if she wanted to wear her cow boots. Her response was a very enthusiastic, "PLEASE!" While she isn't wearing it in the photo above, she also had a pink hooded jacket over this ensemble. Ha!

The festivities were held inside a couple of doors down from blabla proper. In addition to the food and drink, the celebration included live music performed by local kids as well as craft tables with ornaments to decorate. Kate enjoyed coloring with the markers--but more so on the table paper than on her actual ornament.

Before leaving to check out the store for an item or two, we ran into our friends from Lakes Family FUN! How ... FUN! ;o) Once outside, Kate got a juice box and developed quite a fondness for sitting in a little chair set up outside the store. (See top photo.) She did not want to leave that chair.

It was another fun blabla event--thanks, blabla!

We ate nary a pancake, but they sure smelled delicious!

See her artwork?

Look! Blabla finger puppets as ornaments. Adorable! (Or should that be adorabla?)

Scene from a store window. Blabla window displays are sooooo delightful!
