More photo ornaments! I just can't get enough. I actually have even more, but here are just a few of my family. I obviously have more of my family than of Tanna's family because I have been collecting the photo ornaments for longer than we've been married. And to have put photos of his family on my tree when we weren't even dating ... well, that would have been weird. And I don't think I had any pictures of them all at the time, anyway. I've known Tanna for 20 years, but I didn't meet his family until we were dating.
So ... about these ornaments. Let's see. The top ornament is (obviously) from 2001. This photo was taken at my sister Robin's house. It was Marianna and Rebekah's first Christmas, and it was (my brother) Johnny and Anne's first married Christmas. This also was before sister Cindy and BIL Joe moved to Spain. My BIL Steven's brother Bo also is in the photo.
An ornament like the one I did for Tanna's family. For my family, I used a photo from our wedding (2004). Can't believe it's been five years!
2005--the year is on the dangling snowflake. This photo was also taken at my sister Robin's house during our pseudo Thanksgiving celebration in mid-November. (Did you notice the turkeys?) This was upstairs in the living room. After this, we went downstairs to have Christmas. We were celebrating early because Cindy, Joe and the fam were in from Spain then and would be back overseas for the actual holidays. I like the photo ornaments that give you enough space to get a good-sized photo in there. That is important when you have a large family.
All of these ornaments are from Hallmark. (No, I am not getting any money from Hallmark for these posts. But if Hallmark wants to give me some, I'll take it. ;o) Store credit is fine, too.)
I love all of these ornaments and pics.
ReplyDeleteHIlarious comment about Hallmark, because I just read a post on FB about a new FTC crackdown on social networks and blogs and such touting brands. Some of these innocuous-seeming bloggers are working for the companies and aren't revealing it.
I love these ideas. What great posts Karen. I still have to decorate. Tomorrow, I swear...LOL
ReplyDeletewhat pretty ornaments! i hope you post a picture of your entire tree - i'm sure it looks gorgeous!
