Last night, we made a last-minute decision to eat at Johnny Rockets. We had a coupon for a free milkshake (with some other purchase), which we got at our Santa visit. Anyway, here are Tanna and Kate goofing off before we left for dinner. She is so cute. When she wants one of us to play with her or just stay in the same room where she is, she will say, "Ah-Pah, sit down" or "Mommy, sit down."
Johnny Rockets gives kids these paper hats along with a few crayons to color with. Kate scribbled a bit and then wanted us to draw some pictures for her. We started with some random holiday things--a Christmas tree, Santa, snowman, etc.
Then things got a little complicated. We started drawing characters from Yo Gabba Gabba. Tanna's Plex was a little too skinny, but mine turned out a little too fat.
Fortunately, I had a random green crayon in the bottom of my purse so I could draw Brobee. LOL! I love how Johnny Rockets does the smiley-face ketchup (yes, I have a thing for smiley faces). Kate was so funny last night. She insisted on having this ketchup bowl right beside her. She then would pretend to dip her fries in the ketchup (not getting any on there, of course) before she ate them.
Speaking of Yo Gabba Gabba, here is a recent pic of Kate "watching 'Gabs,'" as she likes to say. What a sweetie.
tuck this in the back of your mind in case you might be insterested in it later...my friend Natalie, who you have met, is an amazing birthday party planner for her sons and she did a Yo Gabba Gabba themed party last year and still has the amazing items she made for the party- a pinata of the green monster and I think and boombox she made. She has been meaning to sell them on craigslist but never gets around to it...I think she has a few more items that I can't remember, all really cute. This is my first time looking at your blog in forever! Since I don't have a camera right now I haven't been posting on my blog and I forget to check other ones!
